I travel a lot for business and this must be the worst hotel I have stayed at! The customer service was atrocious! I stayed here for 3 nights and on the second night I went outside to pick up a takeaway I had ordered as it was raining and a storm was coming along therefore I didnt want to go out to eat and the restaurant at the hotel is very limited with their vegetarian menu. As I was walking in with the food I was told by the man at reception that I wasnt allowed to take food to the room and I must EAT IN THE CAR! Luckily I did have my car keys so I decided to eat in the car even though it was absolutely freezing and raining! Nowhere on the website did it say I wouldnt be able to eat in the room. Considering I was paying almost 100 per night this is absolutely disgusting. I was disgusted by this and its safe to say I wont be returning. If you are looking for somewhere to stay with good customer service, this isnt the place. Save your money and go somewhere youll be treated a lot better.
Excellent getaway after a busy Christmas. The room was very spacious yet still comfortable. Nice big TV with some Sky channels. Only downside of the room was that the bed was two singles joined together which caused a little discomfort when sleeping. View was neither impressive nor disappointing from the large window. The maid service however was brilliant. The location is not what would be expected from a country club and the car park is full of litter. We saw a car covered in left over McDonald's and there were alcohol bottles strewn all over the place. Reception staff were more than helpful, warm and friendly. Facilities were top notch. The pool and spa were delightful. The spa pool itself has massage settings and is an excellent temperature. The steam room, sauna and bio sauna are all excellent. Would recommend the bio sauna over the regular sauna. La Belle Forme, the spa/beauty services are excellent. Would highly recommend the luxury manicure and pedicure. It was excellent value for money despite the nail lady not being hugely chatty. Overall, would stay again and recommend to others.
Just back from an overnight stay with my girlfriend. Place is first class and Damien is a diamond. Great service, great spa and brilliant bedrooms and food and drink extremely enjoyable and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend next time it will be room 101 for sure although our executive suite was brilliant. Defo be back again.
Best hotel ever! The staff is very kind and helpful. We felt luxuriously and had such a a relaxing holiday. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. We had a blast and would recommend this to anyone!
Was there for my kids baby music class which was fantastic and couldn't fault. The cafe on the other hand was freezing and seemed to be filled with people looking down their noses at you as I was wearing a pair of jogging bottoms (they did cost me 70 but thats by the by, I was in them as I was on the floor during the baby class).I prefer friendlier places not filled with people who think they're better than you due to your clothing.I should add the staff were helpful and pleasant it was just the clientele.
